Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in local politics, administration, or government relations in the private sector.
• Strong relationship-building capabilities in partnership and stakeholder management.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively.
• Proven experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm for technology, mobility, or urban planning is a plus.
• BA degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Native German speaker with English proficiency; Dutch is a plus.
• Availability for travel.

Responsibilities:

• Represent Bird at the local level to promote its brand and reputation.
• Build and strengthen relationships with city officials and stakeholders.
• Shape local and national e-scooter regulations with public officials.
• Develop and execute strategies for winning or renewing operating permits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet city obligations and respond to local concerns.
• Secure partnerships to advocate for shared mobility and win applications.
• Build relationships with the local operations team to improve the regulatory framework relevant to Bird's operations.
