Requirements:

• Masters in Mental Health (Social Work, Counseling, etc) required.
• Active license required with a willingness to be licensed in multiple states (company paid).
• Social perceptiveness and empathy skills.
• Ability to relate and communicate with diverse populations.
• Emphasize confidentiality with client information.
• Savvy with technology and ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients.
• Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs.
• Provide short-term therapy, typically four to six sessions before a warm hand-off to a long-term local therapist.
• Teach psycho-education related to chronic medical conditions in group settings.
• Conduct crisis assessments and triage with appropriate interventions.
• Research local support groups and resources for individual patients.
