Requirements:
  • 8+ years of business development experience within the public sector, specifically selling software solutions to the U.S. Government or federal agencies.
  • Solid experience in cybersecurity sales.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing large government contracts and working with procurement processes.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, in both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
  • Exposure to cryptography and post-quantum cryptography is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with government stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and work collaboratively with technical teams during deployment phases.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance customer needs with company objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to expand sales within the U.S. government and other public sector organizations.
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities related to cryptography management and post-quantum cryptography migration.
  • Stay informed about government cybersecurity requirements, trends, and initiatives, particularly around cryptography, cloud-based solutions, and quantum threats.
  • Leverage knowledge of government procurement processes, compliance regulations, and relevant security clearances to navigate the public sector landscape effectively.
  • Build, manage, and execute on a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasts and reporting regularly to the executive team.
  • Lead contract negotiations with government agencies, ensuring that terms meet both company and client needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with government clients and key decision-makers, ensuring long-term success and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Solutions Engineers, Customer Engagement Managers, and internal teams to provide technical expertise and ensure smooth customer deployments.
