Paralegal

Requirements:

• A law degree, and ideally have completed the LPC (or equivalent).
• Experience as a paralegal, ideally in a fast-growth business.
• Demonstrable experience reviewing and drafting contracts.
• Some data privacy experience or at least an interest in data privacy.
• Comfortable getting involved in various business, law, and compliance areas (e.g., commercial contracts, data privacy, information security, and marketing).
• Experience working with and supporting multiple stakeholders, particularly sales teams.
• Attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
• An energetic and proactive approach with the ability to use initiative on tasks and projects.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team when required.
• Ability to work under pressure and adopt a commercial approach where necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Building a good understanding of Prolific’s operations and objectives and how the legal and information security team can support these.
• Conducting legal and general research and communicating findings relevant to the business.
• Drafting and completing compliance documentation in line with legal and regulatory requirements, especially for data privacy.
• Assisting with formulating or improving legal and compliance processes across the business.
• Supporting onboarding clients by reviewing and completing due diligence forms.
• Supporting the development and implementation of the information security program, including certifications like ISO27001.
• Liaising with different stakeholders across the business as needed.
• Conducting high-level contract reviews to highlight key risk areas.
