Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in journalism, editing, or creative writing.
• A tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, PR, or a related discipline.
• Exceptional communication skills to present business rationales clearly.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate with the executive team.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience writing bid proposals in the private or public sector.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of tenders with varying deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of bid writing principles and the ability to translate complex information.
• A track record of winning proposals in competitive markets.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with leadership and peers to identify opportunities in government tenders.
• Develop comprehensive proposal responses tailored to specific client requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end proposal process to ensure compliance with tender requirements.
• Build and maintain a library of content for future proposals.
• Create and refine presentations and supporting materials.
• Contribute to initiatives to improve proposal writing efficiency and quality.
• Conduct research on government standards and public sector trends.
• Interview technical experts to gather accurate information.
