Experience as a Product Manager within banking or fintech with experience in payment processing and schemes, or core banking infrastructure.
Deep experience in cross border payment schemes (e.g. SWIFT, SEPA etc) and/or cards.
Experience working with engineering teams to translate the product vision into deliverable solutions that can be built, tested and taken to market.
Experience of working closely with product designers and/or experience with the UX/UI design process.
Previous experience of understanding customer needs, using this to shape your rationale and being the voice of the customer internally.
Comfortable leading customer engagements on their products.
You are a great facilitator who consistently makes sure everyone in the product team has what they need to deliver great customer outcomes.
A track record of delivery - you have owned and delivered a key product or portion of a product before from end to end.
Comfortable leading product discoveries involving customers, vendors and internal teams.
Able to synthesise regulatory documents and incorporate takeaways into discoveries.
Commercially minded to input into pricing and cost decisions, including in business cases.
Responsibilities:
Lead a new Payments product to deliver a new capability such as Cross-border payments or Cards for Griffin.
Contribute to the vision and product strategy for the company. As the lead PM for your domain, you will help us find the product market fit for your product.
Be the balance between market demands and deliverability - core to the role is to be the bridge between customer needs (i.e. requirements) and engineering scope (i.e. specifications).
Evangelise our product culture. Make sure we adopt product management best practice and maintain a strong focus on customer needs.
Work with your product domain team & other functions to design, build and monetise your product in alignment with the company goals.
Run the product rituals such as standups, business case creation, prioritisation, etc. with your virtual team and other stakeholders across the firm.
Advance our risk culture through closely working with 2nd line risk & compliance stakeholders.
