Requirements:
  • 10-12 years of experience in sales, with a focus on SaaS/Customer Support/Sales/CRM.
  • Experience selling marketing automation, CRM, email, or marketing analytics solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Proven record of achieving 100%+ of sales quotas as an individual contributor.
  • Experience managing sales teams, preferably in SMB SaaS.
  • Experience with scaling sales in an SMB SaaS Customer Engagement startup from 10 million ARR to 50 million ARR.
  • Passionate about training early career sales representatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment with strong strategic and tactical execution skills.
  • Proven capability to work cross-functionally with customer and internal teams.
  • Excellent presentation, organization, and listening skills.
  • Must be data-driven, analytical, and results-oriented through all stages of the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Build a high performance customer team, including sales, success, and partnership.
  • Ongoing coaching and development of the team including recruiting, on-boarding, and ongoing training, and culture-building.
  • Oversee business strategies, processes, and best practices for the team to follow, setting target markets and establishing goals.
  • Map the customer journey and determine channels to secure sales.
  • Identify ways to innovate sales model, including product demonstrations and task automation.
  • Monitor efficiency by building dashboards, analyzing customer data for buying/expansion/churn signals.
  • Define and execute strategic plans and develop clear milestones for sales targets.
  • Proactively adjust strategies to navigate market shifts and internal challenges.
  • Lead the team with a forward-thinking approach, anticipating roadblocks and fostering adaptability.
