Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting roles.
  • Experience in an accounting advisory consulting practice or industry experience in technical accounting.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve accounting issues effectively.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to explain complex topics to non-accounting stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • SaaS industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical accounting issues quickly and accurately, and document accounting positions.
  • Communicate technical findings and solutions to management and participate in auditor discussions.
  • Develop and document effective internal controls.
  • Collaborate with teams such as FP&A, tax, and legal to provide accounting guidance.
  • Analyze new accounting standards and assist in implementation.
  • Maintain and evaluate accounting policies for compliance with GAAP.
  • Review significant vendor agreements.
  • Prepare financial statements and disclosures.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
