Requirements:
  • Extensive experience working as a billable Senior Consultant, preferably for a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • People management experience.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop a team.
  • Strong work prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Setting strategy and executing on these and ensuring they are suitably targeted and reported on.
Responsibilities:
  • Management, mentoring and development of a team of Professional Services and Project Management Consultants and associated support staff.
  • Ensuring the well-being of Consultancy Team and providing support where required.
  • Work with our management teams to ensure we are delivering services as cost effective as possible.
  • Setting strategy and executing against agreed goals.
  • Defining training requirements based on future pipeline as agreed with the Solutions Team.
  • Ensuring the correct resource is utilised in the most effective manner across the projects to be delivered.
  • Supporting with the selection and management of third-party resources involved in the delivery of projects.
  • Manage customer and partner escalations when raised. Ensure the outcome of the escalation meets the customer / partner expectation and is also agreed with the Consultant where required.
  • Reporting and presenting.
  • Supporting on client engagements where required.
  • Perform Consultancy work up to 50% of the billable week initially with a view to reducing this depending on the management requirements.
  • RFP/ITT/RFI/SOW/HLD/LLD peer review and occasionally contributing.
  • Working with solution architecture on designing solutions / architecture / designing packaged services.
  • Working with internal senior stakeholders.
  • Working with key vendors to ensure the Consultancy Team have access to the latest releases and features of the vendors’ products.
  • Ensuring the Consultancy Team have the correct vendor accreditation as agreed with both the Solutions Team and Partner Management.
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as directed by Line Manager.
  • Undertake any other ad hoc duties as required, which are deemed necessary to assist with the needs of the company.
