- 3+ years of industry experience building mission-critical software applications in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with Go, Python, or other modern programming languages; C++ knowledge is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud infrastructures.
- Front-end development experience is a plus.
- DevOps skills utilizing open-source tools like Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana are desirable.
- Strong understanding of agile software development best practices, including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, alerting, and documentation.
- Experience with Kubernetes upgrades, Terraform, Ansible, Shell/Python scripting, and Gitlab pipelines.
- Desirable experience includes Kubernetes security, on-premise Kubernetes, networking, vSphere, Packer, Flux or ArgoCD, and Kubernetes installation with Kubespray.
- Build high-quality software using cutting-edge technologies.
- Own the work, add tests and metrics, and participate in code reviews.
- Help define scalable architectures and encourage best practices.
- Provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for various systems.
- Create and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop terraform-based infrastructure.
- Support SRE and developer teams, and follow security practices.
- Maintain documentation and update runbooks.
- Handle incident detection, response, remediation, and conduct post-incident reviews.
